Looks like someone at Apple was listening to their users. In this demo of iOS 4.3 beta 1 we see that Apple has enabled multitasking gestures with a four finger swipe, it does look like it gets a little tight on a 3.5 inch screen. And, most importantly, Apple is now giving us the choice of using the toggle switch on the side of the phone as a mute button or a lock screen switch. Looking forward to the official release of this update.
